The fridge page
One page, on the fridge, containing what an emergency responder, a grandparent or a babysitter would need in the first sixty seconds:
- Baby's full name and date of birth
- Pediatrician's name and number
- Known allergies and current medications
- Emergency contacts, in order, with their relationship
- Your address written out, people genuinely blank on this when calling for help
- Insurance or health service details
Printed, not in a phone. A phone is locked, and the person who needs this may not be you.
Babysitter notes are a handover, not a courtesy
The first time you leave your baby with someone, you will over-explain at the door and then remember four things in the car. A written handover fixes both ends of that.
What is genuinely useful to whoever is staying:

The safe sleep section is worth writing out rather than assuming. Guidance has changed within living memory, and a relative caring for your baby may be working from what was normal when they had theirs.
Getting more from an appointment
Pediatrician appointments are short, and the questions you meant to ask reliably surface in the car afterwards. Two things fix this: write questions down as they occur during the week, and bring a brief symptom log rather than a recollection.
"Waking more since Tuesday, off feeds Wednesday and Thursday, temperature normal throughout" is a clinically useful sentence. "He has been a bit off" is not. Your existing feeding and sleep logs usually contain the answer already.
The diaper bag, restocked
