Payment processing loads only when you start a purchase. Our checkout is provided by Paddle. Paddle's script — which includes their ProfitWell analytics component — is deliberately not loaded when you arrive. It is fetched only when you indicate you want to buy, by moving to or activating a checkout button. Until that moment, no request is made to Paddle or to any other third party on your behalf, apart from loading our web fonts.
When you do begin a purchase, your browser connects to Paddle in order to display the checkout and process payment. That connection is necessary to provide the transaction you have requested, and Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for it.
